^{Taking a bite!}

That’s me. I was in a Vegas hotel room. I had risen at a decent hour that morning despite the late night with friends (hence the bar stamp on my hand) and rallied to run one of my favorite routes, the Vegas Strip, for three miles.

By the time we were headed back from the run to the hotel, hunger was setting in. There was a great breakfast/sandwich shop in the hotel… and I knew they had coffee. That was my priority really. But the surprise was the incredible breakfast sandwich, of which I really needed only half. But oh, was it good, and I was very hungry! As a fun shot to send to the kids – a ‘look at the fun mom is having’ – we took this quick picture.
This is not an image I would normally share publicly. Looking back now, it’s perfect for this launch. I’ve always and fervently believed; life is about experiences. Take a bite!

I took a challenge from two dear and talented friends. Under encouragement from the kids, plus one special person, I’m going to start a new experience, one with more vulnerability than I’m used to, to write and share me.
